Former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance says it is impossible for Zambia to put in place a sustainable economic recovery program especially as the country heads to the 2021 polls.
Mr Nkulukusa says the current administration like any other government would do, is mobilizing resources for next year’s election campaigns and not for debt repayment.
He explained that the PF Government’s focus is to construct more infrastructure projects to hoodwink Zambians that they are working.
Mr. Nkulukusa however notes that there is still a chance for the country to acquire the International Monetary Fund bailout package if government is willing to create a sustainable economic recovery plan.
