The Zambian Government says it will use resources from cooperating partners with transparency and accountability.
Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection Minister Raphael Nakachinda says his Ministry remains indebted to cooperating partners like UNICEF, who work to uplift the living standards of the people.
Nakachinda said this during a virtual courtesy call with United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund -UNICEF- Country representative Noala Skinner.
And Nakachinda said government, through his Ministry, will continue to implement the ongoing water supply and sanitation projects countrywide.
Meanwhile, Skinner reaffirmed UNICEF’s commitment towards the implementation of the ongoing water supply and sanitation projects across the country.
She said the UNICEF will continue to work with the Zambian government to grow the water sector.
Skinner said access to clean water supply and sanitation plays a key role in enhancing human development, in line with Zambia’s sustainable development goals by 2030.
