The children of some of Zambia’s most prominent freedom fighters have paid their tributes to the first family of Dr. Kenneth Kaunda.
Anne Zulu, daughter of former vice president Grey Zulu, says Dr. Kaunda’s words of peace and unity should be put into action.
Zulu says there are many things Dr. Kaunda spoke about which should be actualised to drive the country forward
Meanwhile, Mulenga Kapwepwe, daughter of late Simon Kapwepwe, says Dr. Kaunda was a father figure to not only the Kapwepwe family, but the nation as a whole.
Kapwepwe has encouraged members of the public and the media to do their research and disseminate the right information about Dr. Kaunda.
She has also advised youths to take keen interest in the life of Dr. Kaunda and what he stood for to be more beneficial to the development of the country.
And Madalitso Kamanga, son of late Reuben Kamanga, has described Dr. Kaunda as a gallant man who worked with others to bring the country to where it is now.
He says government and the entire nation should honor all freedom fighters, especially those that are still alive, for the numerous contributions they made.
Others present were Tinta Chona, son of late Mainza Chona, and Chanda Katotobwe son of late Augustine Katotobwe.
