Opposition UPND has accused the Patriotic Front of buying voters’ cards and national registration cards from citizens ahead of the 2021 general elections.

UPND Secretary General, Stephen Katuka claims the UPND has received information that the PF are collecting people’s NRCS and voters’ cards in exchange for money, food and any other favour in an attempt to rig and win the elections.

Mr. Katuka has since urged Zambians to protect their NRCS and voters’ cards and ensure they vote Wisley come 2021.

And Mr. Katuka says the UPND has further received reports suggesting that PF are asking people to submit their old voter’s card numbers for unknown reasons.

But PF Media Director, Sunday Chanda in response has dismissed the claims that the PF plans to rig the elections and has assured that the 2021 election results will go in favour of the pf.

Mr. Chanda says the PF has continued gaining ground in the once perceived UPND strongholds.

“The PF’s growing political base is causing panic among members of the opposition”

Mr. Chanda has since urged the UPND to accept the fact that the PF currently has the upper hand and majority of supporters to win the elections.
