A fake opinion poll has been produced to show that Opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema was leading.
A few days ago, it was reported that the Opposition UPND had hired Prof. Nic Cheeseman of University of Birmingham and University of Zambia lecturer, Dr. Sishuwa Sishuwa to conduct the Poll.
Sishuwa has since partnered with demographers and various non-governmental organisations that include; Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR), Christian Churches Monitoring Group (CCMG), Action Aid and Governance, Elections, Advocacy, Research Services (GEARS) Initiative, to cook up and present the fake poll.
The leaked results show that Hichilema was leading with 24% of respondents while President Edgar Lungu was placed at 15%.
The leaked data revealed a counter board room political Opinion Poll has been done to help Hichilema who was floundering in public opinion.
As per assignment, a fake opinion is now ready for public sharing where they have raised Hichilema to 24% against President Edgar Lungu at 15% while showing that 59% of respondents have not decided yet who to vote for.
