Mine Unions on the Copperbelt say they are in full support of the path taken by President Edgar Lungu and his government over the future of Konkola Copper Mines and Mopani.

Mine Workers Union of Zambia President Joseph Chewe says anyone opposing the proposed reorganisation of KCM and Mopani Copper mines cannot be trusted by the Zambian people.

Meanwhile, National Union of Miners and Allied workers President James Chansa said all the miners and the people of the Copperbelt want what the Liquidator has put in place at KCM.
