Medical Stores Limited (MSL) Board has reiterated the need for strict adherence to the set quality management systems and standard operating procedures in the execution of MSL’s mandate of distributing safe essential health commodities for Zambians. Speaking at a media briefing this morning, Board Vice Chairperson, Mr. James Kapesa explained that the recent happenings surrounding the distribution of essential health commodities have eroded public confidence in MSL, hence the need to religiously follow the established quality control processes at all times. Mr. Kapesa has further assured that the board will work closely with management in ensuring that there is strict adherence to established quality management systems in order to ensure that all medicines distributed by MSL meet the required safety and efficacious standard.
