About 98 per cent of work has been done in the construction of the Kafulafuta water dam water supply project in Masaiti district on the Copperbelt.

Government is soon expected to commission the first ever of such an infrastructure project in Masaiti, undertaken at a cost of 4-hundred and 49-million dollars.

Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company Managing Director, Athanasius Mwaba, who has inspected the project, says all preliminary works have been completed.

Mwaba says critical construction areas of the project, such as pipework installations, are all complete.
