Many critics have claimed PF is only developing urban areas with roads and street lights and living those in rural area unattended to.
The PF achievement in rural areas are unmatched and too detailed to cover at once, from rural electrification, new schools, health centers, rural agro- industrialization, water and sanitation projects, communication towers, roads and so on and so forth.
In 2017 the PF government secured us$ 108 million for four provinces for water supply and sanitation from the African Development Bank (AFDB) which kicked off in the second quarter of 2018 to implement water supply in small towns.
The four provinces were Western, northern, Muchinga and Luapula provinces in 12 districts namely, Kaoma, Mongu, Senanga, Sesheke, Mbala, Kasama, Mpika , Nakonde, Samfya ,Kawambwa, Mwense and Mansa.
The government aimed at increasing access to quality, safe and reliable water supply and sanitation , benefiting more than 930,000 people in the said areas
That is only the tip of the iceberg, so shall we still ask what the PF has done.
