UNITED National Development Party leader Hakainde Hichilema has today signed a social contract with UPND youths for empowerment if he assumes office.

Mr Hichilema said he was signing a contract with them because the future belongs to them.

“The contract contains benefits for our future leaders, including; quality education, mineral wealth contracts, jobs, business opportunities,” said Hichilema.

He said contracts for mukula trees, transport and several other government programs will be given to UPND youths whom he signed the contract with.

“No foreigner will be allowed to do such jobs unless under a joint venture,” he said.

Mr Hichilema has since urged his jobless youth, a youth struggling to acquire education, a youth without business opportunities to stand up and get an NRC, a voter’s card and in 2021 vote for change of government.
