The Zambian Association of Citizen Contractors -ZACCO – has praised government for showing political will and ensuring that Zambian contractors get a fair share in the infrastructure projects across the country.
Association President Mutale Mpepo says he is happy that Zambian contractors will get thirty percent in Kasomeno-mwenda road projects .
Mpepo says the move is an example of good leadership starting from president Edgar Lungu and those he has appointed to in the ministry of Infrastructure.
He further says the move will ensure that Zambians are empowered which will in turn make the economy grow because the money will be reinvested within the country.
Mpepo told ZNBC news in an interview that the country can only be developed by empowering Zambians.
