Leader of the newly formed opposition New Heritage Party Chishala Kateka says the current political landscape in Zambia is too divisive.
Speaking when she featured on Phoenix FM’s Tuesday edition of let the people talk programme this morning, Ms Kateka says it is important going forward to engage everyone regardless of their tribe or political creed with the aim to develop the country.
Further, Ms Kateka says to promote inclusiveness, there is a need to introduce a new kind of politics that will focus on building on the country’s legacy of peace.
Ms Kateka also says for a long time, Zambians have been deprived of their own share of the national resource because of uninspiring leadership that does not speak to the needs of the citizens.
