Ruling Patriotic Front -PF- Secretary General Davies Mwila has asked Former Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili to re-join the ruling party he helped found.
Addressing party officials and aspiring candidates on the Copperbelt, Mwila directed Party structures to go flat out and bring back all those that left PF including opposition NDC Leader Kambwili.
The PF SG said Kambwili is among founder members of the Party and it would be right that he gets back to the ruling party.
He stated that the PF will embrace Kambwili without any difficulties when he decides to return because PF is his home.
And, Mwila said the party will only adopt candidates who are popular to ensure maximum votes for President Edgar Lungu.
He also warned party officials against getting money from aspiring candidates seeking adoption stating that the Central Committee will only pick candidates who are popular on the ground.
Mwila urged PF structures that will be handling adoptions to only recommend those who are popular so as to avoid the party losing elections.
Meanwhile, PF Copperbelt Chairperson Bernard Zulu said the ruling party has resolved to ensuring President Lungu is voted back into office.
Zulu said the adoptions will be done in a transparent manner.
